More Cornwall: Basically lots of dogs, bit of beach, some sun, good friends and family and afew pasties. Oh, and loads of great grub from the Parkers!
1 August to 9 August: We took a trip down to Cornwall and staying with Steve and Fathyma in their fab new gaff in Swanpool. We had these good intentions of visiting loads of people, going to Eden again, going to Heligan, swinging by the church we got married in, going to the beach...blah blah. We actually went to the beach but um that's about it! We had a really lovely week, thanks in the most part to the wonderful hospitality extended to us by the Parkers - thank you so much xxx
29 July: We had a most excellent day out at fishers Farm Park with Dave and Liz. I think we all enjoyed it more than Milo.....
28 July: We visited the Beardons in Winchester and managed to eat outside for the first time this summer! Great food - thanks - lovely company and really lovely to see our kids together.
18 July: The long legged one paid us a visit. It was wonderful to see her, thanks to Dave and Liz and Sue and Matt for coming over in the eve to make it a party, trifle and all!
14 July: We had a day out on the Frensham Ponds beach with the Hunters and the Winns. A fab day was had by all, thanks to the ace company xxx
11 July: Ruby got her high chair, which she just loves. She wants to be part of everything and see what's going on, so it is perfect for watching me while I am in the kitchen and then of course for eating what comes out of the kitchen!
Beginning of July: My wonderful Mum came to stay; spent our time playing, changing nappies and not much else really!

I know, it has been a few weeks since I posted any pics. Truth is we haven't done a great deal. Been over to see the Willis' in their new place - a beautiful home; played with some balloons, has the lovely Paul and Sarah to stay...all a bit quiet. The last week has been a washout thanks to another round of colds and nasty ear infection and perforation for Steve, so we've been a bit down in the dumps. Not helped by the weather of course. Any how, all on the mend now and looking forward to a week of family visits.
Hope anyone who reads this is in a happy place xx

Alfie Whetham's 2nd birthday and the arrival of baby Imogen were all the excuse we needed to spend a weekend back in Bassett. We had a hectic weekend visiting Gran and Grandpa, who had Great Grandma to stay, attending Alfie's fabulously chaotic party, staying with the Whethams and visiting John and Miranda to meet their new baby daughter Imogen. We all had a lovely weekend, the kids were great and it was really good to see everyone. Needless to say Imogen is gorgeous (and tiny!).
Thansk to Dave, Sarah, Alfie and Tia for sharing your home with us xxxx

This last weekend was wonderful. We had Chris, Loz and Max to visit, which was just the tonic after a tough week with a rather unwell Milo. Seeing he, Max and Ruby together really was something special and we are really looking forward to being able to get together again soon. Thanks to the Morrisons for coming to see us, it was fab xxxx

A brief note to send our huge congratulations, love and best wishes to John and Miranda, who welcomed little Imogen Aulman into the world today. Can't wait to meet her xxxx
We had a lovely and long overdue day with Dave and Liz last weekend. It being the FA cup final day we just about had time to stroll around Southwater lake & munch an ice cream before heading back to D&L's for the second half of the match. Ruby eclipsed the cup match action by rolling over for the first time (tummy to back - the easier of the two to accomplish) - far more exciting in my book.

Ruby
Fed up of night time waking, we decided to begin weaning Ruby this week. She certainly likes her food and very quickly got the hang of the idea of it coming from a spoon, in fact she looked at me as if to say 'at last!' and gobbled down everything I gave her. So far she's enjoyed banana, apple, pear and carrot.....and the last two nights has slept much better.

We spent the rest of our week together at home. Milo and Ruby are good buddies now; she is facinated with him and he seems to adore her (a little on the boisterous side sometimes but very affectionate). My emotions seems to run very swiftly from 'ahhhh, aren't they beautiful together' to 'please don't squash her'.
We had a day out at Polesdon Lacey (NT property) where Milo was more interested in the stones and the trees than anything else.
Steve is particularly fond of the plant pictured and wants to know what it is...answers to the usual address please.
Finally we spent most of the day today at the Winn's house, having lunch with them and the Hunters, comparing new babies and catching up. A lovely day, thanks all xxxx

Steve took a week off work this last week and we spent the first few days of it up in Norfolk visiting Christa, Alex and Morwenna (see link to left side). Unfortunately the weather was not brilliant, but it was nonetheless great to spend time with the Bowlings. Milo and Morwenna took a while to understand one another (buying Milo his own toy pushchair was a necessary part of this process!) while Ruby watched from the sidelines. She had an awful cold that went to her chest so was a bit miserable during our stay. Apart from a day out to a castle nearby we spent our time at home and in the park......thank you Alex, Christa and Morwenna for your hospitality and good company xxxx

A fine weather weekend brought on another BBQ, this time in the company of Dave, Emily and Ciara. Milo and Ciara were very pleased to see one another and spent their time up and down the slide and climbing frame and riding around on the tractor. Lovely weather, great company and amusing kids.
Another day, another new baby to visit. This time little Daisy Winn, sister to Ella. And what a cutie? Looks just like her dad. Milo, Ruby and I had lunch with Jo, Thomas and bump before we all decended upon the Winn household. The kids had a ball racing around the house and the garden while we ladies cooed over the four babies and Suzanne rescued Play Doh from the fish pond. Thanks all for a lovely day, we had a great time.
Ruby and I paid another visit to Sarah and Emma last week. Emma has grown considerably, looks like she has her daddy's legs and is a little cutie. She and Sarah seem very well and happy, it really is wonderful to see. We had lunch with Ken and Gloria - really good to see them again, especially settled in their new home. Still can't get to grips with the fact that we are all parents.....
