Ruby, Milo, Steve and I had a lovely weekend with John and Miranda. Milo was very taken with his uncle in particular, while Ruby was all smiles for both her uncle and aunt.

Milo painted the piggy bank John and Miranda gave him for Christmas and we spent the rest of the time simply catching up and playing with the kids.

Milo had a lovely 2nd birthday on Tuesday. He celebrated with his friends at nursery after opening his presents in the morning.....all that dosh on a climbing frame and it is the two £1 cars he will not let out of his sight! Thanks to all who have sent cards and presents, both for Milo and Steve xxx.

Steve took the day off for his own birthday but unfortunately the weather let us down and it bucketed down all day, so we had to make do with throwing ourselves around in the soft play centre (not sure who had more fun, us or Milo!). No pics I'm afraid so you'll have to make do with these....

Milo had an early birthday present at the weekend - a climbing frame. Unfortunately he has only been able to play on it once since due to the weather and his nursery days...I am sure we'll get lots of use out of it over the coming years!

Milo now really enjoys having Ruby in the bath with him; in fact he gets upset if she is not!

Ruby is doing well; weighing in at 12lbs, smiling lots and cooing. She's had her first jabs and continues to be a little sweetheart......

Ruby is now smiling lots - captured here for you all to enjoy.

We are all doing well; looking forward to Milo's birthday and seeing the look on his face when he sees the climbing frame we have bought him.

Hope you are well and happy......

A special message for a special lady......with lots and lots of love from Milo and Ruby xxxxx

Ruby is now enjoying her baby gym; unfortunately for her Milo enjoys it too! It is lovely seeing the two of them together and Milo seems to be back to his usual sunshine self while Ruby is turning into a proper little person. She is now smiling and cooing - great to hear sounds other than crying coming from her mouth!
