In case none of you realise just how cute our kids are, here's a reminder.....

The 24 March was Ciara's birthday and, while Steve stayed at home to nurse his poorly head, Milo, Ruby and I headed over to Selbourne to celebrate with the Hunters. We took the kids up to a larger soft play centre where they ran rings around the adults for over two hours. Then it was back to Ciara's house for birthday bolognaise. A late evening meant Milo had to borrow pyjamas from Ciara...despite the ridicule he semed to rather like them! We had a fab time, thanks to Dave, Em and Ciara for inviting us to share it xxx

The 17 March was my birthday and I was thrilled to have some very good friends round to share it with me. Christa and Morwenna appeared with Cath and Marc, while Dave and Liz popped over for the eveing to join us all. Milo was much more comfortable with the idea of sharing his toys with Morwenna this time around and has since become worryingly attached to a coat she has lent Ruby.....

On 10 March we finally managed to have Milo, Tommy and Ella's joint birthday party, delayed due to an outbreak of chicken pox. A fab time was had by all on the bouncy castle, ride on toys and afterwards at lunch. We had around 20 kids under 5 years old caning around and as far as I could tell they were all brilliantly behaved. Most importantly the birthday kids had a great time. Thanks to all who came along to make is a special day xxx

On the way home from the Grandparents we were lucky enough to visit the Beardons to meet the new addition to their fmaily - baby Emma Daisy. She was just 6 days old when we met here, so no pics of the parents - as I am sure you can appreciate it is pretty tiring having a baby that young! Any way, here is one of the lovely Emma.....

The beginning of March saw the Aulmans make one of their not-often-enough trips over to Wiltshire and Bristol to catch up with Steve's family. We stayed with Gran and Grandpa - thank you! - and took the opportunity to nip over to Bristol to see the Great Grandmothers. It was our first trip away with Ruby; she and her older brother behaved impeccably and we had a busy but very enjoyable few days.
Milo loved the phone, motorbikes, Grandpa and the cat, while Ruby was generally pretty cute all weekend.
We also took the chance to have a brief catch up with Matt and Ros (never see enough of you two!) and the Whethams, who supplied us with a lovely meal on our first evening away from the kids since Ruby was born. The beautiful eclipse of the moon topped off a fab evening. Shame I was so tired!
